Sound Power Testing System
The Sound Power Testing System is an integrated hardware and software solution designed for product noise evaluation, regulatory certification, and acoustic performance verification. It consists of a multi-channel acoustic data acquisition unit, microphones/sound intensity probes, synchronized acquisition modules, measurement point layout and parameter management software, sound power calculation and analysis software, and a report generation module. The system standardizes the sound power testing process into a repeatable and reusable engineering test workflow.
The system supports measurement point layout guidance, multi-channel synchronous data acquisition, K1/K2 corrections, sound pressure level and sound power level calculations, data consistency checks, and customizable report generation. It is suitable for noise rating, R&D benchmarking, and pre-certification validation of products such as industrial equipment, construction machinery, automotive and aerospace components, household appliances and consumer electronics, as well as power generation and energy storage systems.

Comprehensive Standards Coverage
OpenTest currently supports multiple sound power measurement standards based on the sound pressure method, including ISO 3744, ISO 3745, and ISO 3746. Support for sound intensity method algorithms is under development, with the goal of providing a single software platform capable of covering all customer sound power testing scenarios.
OpenTest automatically calculates K1 and K2 correction factors, applies background noise and environmental corrections, and ensures that sound power measurement results are both accurate and compliant with applicable standards.
In addition to generating sound power results, OpenTest fully preserves raw time-domain waveforms and frequency-domain data, while associating and recording key information such as measurement point details, calibration records, and environmental parameters. This enables in-depth result analysis, traceability, and efficient data management.
Support for Multiple Sound Power Measurement Standards
Fast and Efficient Test Environment Setup
We provide standard hemispherical microphone frames (radius 1 m and 1.5 m) featuring a compact and practical mechanical design for quick assembly, disassembly, and positioning. This helps users significantly reduce test setup time and improve overall testing efficiency.
For cuboid measurement surfaces, OpenTest can automatically calculate the coordinates of each microphone based on parameters such as the reference box dimensions and measurement distance. Users can quickly complete microphone placement without performing complex manual calculations, streamlining the entire test preparation process.

Diverse and Intuitive Result Visualization
OpenTest provides multiple visualization formats, including real-time waveforms, measurement point layout diagrams, sound pressure level (SPL) and sound power level (PWL) curves, 1/3-octave band spectra, and tabulated data, enabling users to quickly review and validate measurement results.
All charts support zooming, local magnification, and range-based viewing, allowing engineers to perform detailed analysis of critical frequency bands or abnormal time periods with ease.
To streamline reporting and collaboration, OpenTest supports one-click export of all charts and tables as high-resolution images or data files, making it convenient to incorporate results into test reports, technical reviews, and project presentations.

High-Performance Synchronous Acquisition for Reliable and Consistent Test Data
SonoDAQ Pro supports multi-channel synchronous data acquisition, with a single unit capable of covering up to 24 measurement points. For larger test setups, multiple units can be expanded through daisy-chain configurations. Powered by PTP (Precision Time Protocol) synchronization technology, the system maintains an inter-channel phase error of ≤ 100 ns, ensuring highly accurate and consistent measurements across all channels.
For applications involving a large number of microphones, users do not need to calibrate each microphone individually using an acoustic calibrator. Instead, SonoDAQ Pro can automatically configure microphone sensitivities based on TEDS (Transducer Electronic Data Sheet) information, significantly simplifying system setup and reducing preparation time.
Designed for demanding industrial environments, SonoDAQ Pro features 1000 V channel isolation and strong immunity to electromagnetic interference, ensuring stable and reliable operation even in complex electrical environments.
