CRY5014 LEMO Analog In - LMQ

The CRY5014 LMQ is a 4-channel universal input module designed for high-end NVH, acoustic, and structural vibration testing. The module features four 7-pin LEMO connectors and provides unified support for multiple input modes, including Mic 200 V, IEPE, Charge, and Direct Voltage. It also supports configurable AC/DC coupling and differential/single-ended input configurations, making it compatible with measurement microphones, accelerometers, charge-output sensors, and standard voltage-output sensors.
The core value of the LMQ lies in its ability to consolidate the connectivity requirements of multiple sensor types commonly used in NVH testing into a single module. When used together with the SonoDAQ mainframe and OpenTest software, users can perform channel mode switching, range configuration, TEDS management, CIC self-check, status diagnostics, and synchronized acquisition on a unified platform. This makes complex front-end wiring and configuration workflows clearer, more reliable, and easier to manage.

One Module Covering Multiple NVH Sensor Inputs

One Module Covering Multiple NVH Sensor Inputs

LMQ supports four input modes — Mic 200 V, IEPE, Charge, and Direct Voltage — enabling compatibility with externally polarized measurement microphones, IEPE accelerometers, charge-type sensors, and standard voltage-output sensors. This reduces system complexity caused by switching between multiple dedicated front-end modules.

4-Channel Synchronous Acquisition with 7-pin LEMO Interfaces

4-Channel Synchronous Acquisition with 7-pin LEMO Interfaces

The module provides four independent input channels via 4 × 7-pin LEMO connectors on the front panel, supporting sampling rates up to 204.8 kHz. All four channels share the unified SonoDAQ platform time base, making the module suitable for acoustics, vibration, modal, and multi-point synchronized measurements.

170 dB Dynamic Range for Both Weak and High-Level Signals

170 dB Dynamic Range for Both Weak and High-Level Signals

LMQ delivers a dynamic range of up to 170 dB. In Voltage mode, the ±10 V range achieves an input noise floor of ≤ 15 µVrms, while THD remains ≤ -100 dB at 1 kHz and -1 dBFS. This enables high data integrity across both low-level acoustic/vibration signals and large dynamic shock events.

TEDS Read/Write and CIC Self-Test for Improved Field Usability

The module supports TEDS reading and writing, helping software automatically identify sensor information and reduce manual configuration errors. CIC, self-test, and status reporting functions enable front-end health diagnostics, allowing engineers to detect polarization, power supply, open/short circuit, or overload issues before testing.

Sound Power Testing Solution

Automated sound power testing streamlines data acquisition, analysis, and pass/fail evaluation. It improves result consistency while enabling fast multichannel testing and report generation.

What Is Sound Power Testing?

Sound power testing is used to quantify the total acoustic energy radiated by equipment, with sound power level, Lw, as the key metric. Unlike sound pressure level, which only indicates how loud a sound is at a particular point, sound power is better suited to noise benchmarking and compliance declarations across sites, laboratories and production […]

What are Sound Pressure, Sound Intensity, and Sound Power?

Sound is everywhere in our daily life: birdsong, street noise, engine roar, even the faint airflow from an air conditioner. For people, sound is not only about whether we can hear it, but whether it feels comfortable, is disturbing, or poses a risk. The same 70 dB can feel completely different; and when something feels […]
