The R&D center is equipped with a reliability lab, a measurement room, an aging room, and a standard 580 m3 anechoic room to achieve all product quality tests and ensure the high quality and reliability of its instruments.
CRYSOUND's R&D Center was identified as the provincial-level high-tech R&D center of Zhejiang Province in 2017. It owns precision anechoic chambers (noise floor = 1 dBA, cut-off frequency = 80 Hz), environmental laboratory and a large number of foreign precision instruments and equipment. It is one of the global leading high-tech enterprises that can develop acoustic sensors and testers simultaneously.

Mr. Cao Ruiying, CRYSOUND founder, graduated from Zhejiang University with a major in electronic physics and technology in 1984. He is one of the first-generation active noise-canceling earphone R&D engineers in China. His mission is to “rejuvenate the electroacoustic testing of the Chinese nation”.
CEO & CTO: Jason, master of engineering, Columbia University, USA, won the Interdigital Innovation Challenge in 2012, with a prize of USD 100,000. Since joining CRYSOUND, he has led CRYSOUND'S team to continuously climb the peaks of science and technology.
CRYSOUND's R&D Center has been identified as the provincial high-tech enterprise R&D center in Zhejiang Province. It has a R&D team consisting of those graduated from top foreign universities and domestic well-known ones. Most of its researchers are from key universities and colleges of Project 985.
CRYSOUND's electroacoustic analysis system has been commercially available for more than 20 years, achieving core technology breakthroughs. It has provided acoustic testing solutions to mobile phones, headphones, smart loudspeakers and other products for Apple, Google, Microsoft, Amazon and other Fortune 500 companies. CRYSOUND has independently developed core technologies including audio algorithms, acoustic sensors, hardware, and software. It has played a significant role in the development of high-end technologies for electroacoustic testing in China and the quality improvement of voice interaction devices.
Since the launch of CRYSOUND's noise analysis equipment, it has made great contributions to China's environmental noise monitoring, field noise monitoring, radar fault monitoring, debris flow warning, and automobile fault detection.
