CRY3261-S02 Free-Field Microphone Set, 1/2", 450mV/Pa
The CRY3261-S02 is a 1/2-inch free-field prepolarized ultra-low-noise measurement microphone and IEPE preamplifier set, specifically designed for ultra-low-noise measurement applications below 10 dB. With an inherent noise level as low as 6.5 dBA (typical 6.0 dBA), a dynamic range of 6.5 dBA to 100 dB, and a frequency response from 6 Hz to 20 kHz, it provides stable and traceable measurement performance for applications such as product self-noise evaluation, household appliance noise measurement, transformer current noise analysis, and low-noise environmental assessment.

With an inherent noise level as low as 6.5 dBA, the CRY3261-S02 is purpose-built for ultra-low-noise measurements and is capable of capturing extremely weak sound pressure levels, even below the threshold of human hearing. For low-noise sources that are difficult to resolve clearly with conventional general-purpose microphones, it delivers higher measurement resolution and lower uncertainty. This makes it particularly well suited for applications such as headphone self-noise evaluation, quiet household appliances, precision electronic devices, resistor and capacitor noise testing, and low-noise environment assessment.
IEPE and TEDS Support for True Plug-and-Play Integration
Featuring a prepolarized design, the CRY3261-S02 supports IEPE powering, allowing direct connection to IEPE-compatible data acquisition systems and analyzers without the need for a traditional external power supply module. This results in simpler cabling, faster deployment, and lower system integration complexity, making it particularly suitable for applications that require frequent switching between test objects or long-term continuous operation. In addition, the set supports TEDS programmed in accordance with IEEE 1451.4, enabling automatic identification of sensor information and key parameters, significantly improving configuration efficiency and consistency in multi-channel test systems.
Full Coverage of the Human Audible Frequency Range
The CRY3261-S02 offers a frequency response of 6 Hz to 20 kHz, providing effective coverage across the full audible frequency range of human hearing and enabling complete capture of both low-frequency detail and high-frequency information.
